| As I cruise through these forums, I constantly see people talking about losing weight, in all kinds of threads. My question is, what are you doing about it? Talk is cheap and it doesn't burn nearly enough calories!
GET UP OFF YOUR RUSTY-DUSTY AND DO SOMETHING!
For the guys, when you look good your confidence goes way up! The lady you have been "fixing" to talk to is very much attainable, when you feel good about yourself. Ladies, I am sorry to disappoint you, but it is not the new clothes that make you look beautiful. It is the glow you get when you feel good about yourself. That is why pregnant women glow. That is why there are no ugly brides. When you feel good about yourself, you glow, your conversation sparkles, you are alive!
So, do something!
There is no excuse! Below is a sample YouTube video. There are, conservatively speaking, a gazillion more like it. Find one that fits where you are and go from there! Buddy up with a friend and keep each other accountable. But do something besides complaining. It is a very old cliche, but nontheless true: As long as you keep doing what you're doing, you're going to have what you have. To get something different, you got to do something different. Just do it!
Report back your success and spur somebody else on!

| Qirki, you are so right in this and just about all other things. I just keep shooting myself in the foot is my problem...
You're an inspiration, though, and you keep me infused with the hope that I can rise to the occasion. I need you to keep on keeping on!
..... ..... ..... However, with me it's like beating a dead horse...

| I jog to my refrigerator. Now that is very hard work to do. Weight has always been a discrimation, always and always will be. Men are always up our ass about that, but we never say anything to them. I like husky teddy bears. I dont like my men too thin but that is my preference. Your looks fade over time. And eventually so dont your body, but i also understand you need to keep yourself healthy for your own sake, but to be judged by your weight, that is uncalled for. If men think women are overweight, then they should get off the couch with their girlfriend and take a walk with them and go jogging or whatever it may be and inspire them, give them a boost. And then when their girlfriend gets to their lovely ideal weight and starts to look beautiful, dump your boyfriend and look for someone better whos going to treat you right!!!!!!!

| Onelifetolive,
Amen! It's just that my temple needs remodeling. I am working on it, not nearly as fast as I had hoped, but I did not get to my present state overnight and I am not gonna get out of it overnight either. Unfortunately, I tend to be more patient with other people than myself. But, when I reach my goal, you will know about it! Keep on Keepin' on!

| Bella,
I suspect that you are a little spark plug that burns calories just sitting in front of your computer, posting. Trust me, time will catch up with you! I feel sorry for that guy you spoke of. If he and his girl are exercsing together, helping one another, why should she dump him? If you find a good thing, treasure it!
