| Why is it you talk to a guy numerous times over a course of at least a week then all of the sudden they drop off the face of the earth with no response? Shouldn't you give a woman the courtsey to say sorry but I don't want to talk to you anymore. Why leave us hanging?

Probably not.
Look at the position you're taking differently.
Don't see this as a negative response to you - put the negative on the man and believe you are luckier that he left when he did....

| I usually try to turn questions like this around. I know there have been tons of times that I've pulled a vanishing act on people I was chatting with online. There have been many different reasons, ranging from "they said something that offended me" to something as simple as "life intervened and I wasn't online for a while."
Try not to take it personally, it probably doesn't mean there's anything that you did wrong. You just never know what's really going on in people's lives. Move on down the line, and if Guy A pops back up later, you can see whether his explanation washes with you or not.
I went on a date last Friday with a guy that I've been chatting with on another site for like two months LOL. When we first started talking, he'd go days or weeks without e-mailing or calling. I just didn't worry about it, and I'm glad, because I really had fun with him when we finally did go out. It turned out that he'd had some personal and work stuff going on that needed to get squared away.

| I thought I was going crazy that maybe it was just me which of course it still can be the case. I do agree that it can go both ways that woman can do the same thing as men with no replies or even going as far as putting on the ignored list. I do agree it is called respect. I don't expect an email or anything everday but when you can tell they have been on and deleted your message and still no response after a week. Thanks everyone for responding to my post.

| Sorry. I did that. Here is what I was thinking. I really didn't want to hurt his feelings. Thought we did not have enough in common and he was not where I'd hoped he'd be in life. I've worked my ass off to be where I am in life and I'm never going to take a step backwards again to be with a slacker. Sure if there was potential of achievement, possibly.
Sorry again I probably sound like a b---- but I already wasted 5 years on a slacker and their are plenty of motivated men out there. I'm not lowering my standards for a cute face.

This question is so out there and vague, there are hundreds of possible answers.
Could be that the men you are referring to got the impression some place that the gal wasn't interested.
Could be that the men you are referring to got the impression some place that the gal wanted something more than he could give.
Could be that the men you are referring to got the impression some place that the gal was moving too fast.
Could be that the men you are referring to got the impression some place that the gal just wasn't the gal he was lookin for.
Could be that the men you are referring to got the impression some place that the gal had lied or deceived him.
Could be that the men you are referring to got the impression some place that the gal was seeing somebody else.
Could be that the men you are referring to got the impression some place that the gal was psyco.
