Oh time period? I'm talking anywhere from 3 months to 3 years. Dry spell is a time frame that ranges widely with different people so it is up to you.
I also think it's more fun to get to know the person before sex. That way when we do talk about sexual stuff I pay close attention to what she likes and remember it for when it counts . The emotional connection is much deeper as well and the sex has meaning .
