| The city of Los Angeles is really a city of many hidden wonders, and I mean well hidden, so you have to ask and discover. That alone can be a way to make contacts.
Just be yourself, do not act, it is easier to click with some one on like personalities than with an acted attitude, keep in mind that in that place more than 50% of the people are Hollywood wanabies.
Burbank? other than some studios the rest is like any other place.
Contrary to Latino007 sugestion to go to Hollywood boulevard, well just drive trough it, but do not stop or get out of the car, there is nothing but hookers and pimps and not so good people.
There is no war unles you start it. Do not expect people in general to be very friendly, that is a trade mark of the place, but they are there and once you are in you will love it.
