| actually I have talked to him for along time and emailed for a long tome.
I havenot met inperson but recieve letters and pictures weekly. I am meeting him around June. He is coming to see me. I am really excited.

| oh oh, Sami...talking and e-mailing and then actually meeting in person can be a whole new story..you sure you want to base leaving before you meet in person..and gosh, you're talking 4 months away yet! I'd keep my mouth zipped until the actual meet. JMO

| I spent almost a year e-mailing, im'ing and talking on the phone with a guy that I really liked a lot. We finally met for a weekend, and I broke up with him less than two weeks later.
You have *no* idea who someone really is until you see them in person.

| That's why I asked. I've seen again and again on this site, "we're in love" announcements from people who haven't met each other yet, and almost invariably, they don't last.
Sami....maybe you and this guy WILL really hit it off, I hope you do! Just be careful with your heart and be careful what decisions you make and announcements you make until after you have met him.

| Exactly. And we're not saying not to be excited, or happy, or enjoy the warm fuzzies. Enjoy all of it! Just keep a level of caution also, don't go quitting jobs or giving notice to your landlord or planning the wedding just yet.

| Thank you all for the heads up. I already know this though. I will have a guard up for along time. at least till I know for sure. I am not one posting saying I love this person either. I am hopeing for the best. I am leaving this site. I can always come back. I usually do. But this time we are both very serious about this. So hopefully I dont return.
