| I send winks & e-mails and guys usually don't reply. 
I'm sure a big part of it has to do with my looks. I know I'm not the best looking in the world but damn I'm not the worst either. Maybe it's my personality. Don't it. I'm outgoing, funny, caring, open minded.... all the things guys say they look for.
I ready their profile and they say they're honest. No they're are not. They don't even have the balls or respect to tell someone when they're interested.. they don't find you attractive... they think your weight it a problem. People can loose weight but you can't fix your dishonesty.
I want to know if anyone... not just girls... if you've had the same problem or if you are one of those rare guys who will speak their mind.

| The cover would have to be attractive to get my attention. From there I would see if the self promoting blurbs held me. If so, I would then purchase it...or hint that it would make a nice fathers' day gift.

| I rarely send winks. I just message and if it goes unanswered then OWell it's their loss. I'm self confident and I could careless who finds me attractive or who don't. I've meet a wonderful guy off here (no winks included) Just relax and have fun and enjoy yourself thats what it should be about. When the right person comes along for you, you will know it. Don't get all worked up over anyones elses opinions. It's theirs and they are entitled to it, just as you are!

| First off, you're beautiful, articulate and sound like a fantastic conversationalist. Never, ever sell yourself short.
Second, I had a hard time deciding if you were a guy or a girl. You reminded me of kd lang and she is what kids in my 'hood' would call 'a butch'. And alot of men like women to look feminine. For alot of men, looks do matter, or some sort of attractiveness whatever that may be. Most men aren't forgiving or apologize in their attraction to a certain look even if they themselves look like Bluebeard. But they do think they deserve someone attractive and I read your profile...I read honesty, humbleness and caring. Most men have a short attention span, so if the cover isn't catchy, they won't go past chapter one.
But there are guys out there who know exactly what they want to read, its just that you have to go through those voyeurs before you can hit on the guy who will actually buy the book because they've read the inside jacket and find it fascinating even if the artwork on the front cover sucks. Those are the one who will keep that 'book by the bed' kind of guys. But you have to be patient. You have to be open minded, because at times what you get will surprise ya, and most of all, you have to believe in yourself always. That means, no whys, no pity parties, no what ifs...just believe that you are exactly who you need to be to meet the right person for you.

| some guys are funny on here. change your description to say avarage instead of a few extra pounds I took a look and you dont look like you have a few extra you look fine. maybe you feel like you have a few extra but you just dont look it.and choose one of your other pictures for you main photo that one dose nothing for you. why dont you use the one with your head slanted to the right . the close up you look really nice in that one. take the current main one off all togeather it makes you look kinda butch.we are what we are.
and dont rush it yuore so young you have your whole life in front of you.sweetie.

| same can be applied to many women who receive winks and emails from men with pics and never reply.
so what can we conclude? what can be said for one gender, can also be applied to the other, hence the behavior you described will not change at all between both sexes with regards to online sites and even in real world settings. just move on until you hook up with someone you are compatible with.
