| last one I was with I called it quits (just dating not live in) when he got up to owing me 500.00 enough is enough. It was not just the money though there was more to it. I was soooo sick I couldnt get out of bed My Mom took my daughter for me but HE REFUSED to come see me and help out. Said if he could not sleep with me in my bed that he would not come help.(I asked him to come help me i could barely get out of bed to go to bathroom.I said he could sleep on couch so as not to get sick too)

| I tried dating a man with little to no income in the past and realized it was NOT for me. Never again. I loved him, but when it came down to it, love could not pay the bills, he could not take me out and a whole list of other problems came with it. I have worked really hard for everything I have and I am consistently setting and accomplighing long term and short term goals. He should be doing the same. At what point does a person "get on his feet?" I am not interested in being a man's mother and helping him get on his feet. It's just too much baggage to deal with. I do not, however, knock the women who do. Different strokes for different folks.

| I did, married him & went from NO DEBT to HORRIBLE CREDIT & LOTS OF DEBT.... I learned my lesson. Now, I try to date someone that is competitive with my income range. Sad but true. I do not want to be the primary breadwinner. I want a partner in all senses of teh word. Emotional and financial.

| Yes, and if a woman cares that much about income she is too materialistic.
However, I would never date a dude who never got a job...
If you have a job and you lose it thats different, as long as your trying to get another one.
If you just have low income, thats fine.
