| OK, this may be a stretch on this forum, BUT, just over the moon that my favorite movie and favorite people in 2007 just won OSCAR for best song...so, the dating portion of this is to go see or rent "ONCE" with someone you love, or like a little bit.....any other suggestions for good films/dvd's (fairly new ones)? IF you saw the show, you saw how excited they were.
(Katie, I tried writing, but couldn't.)

| Couldn't write to me? Or in general? :: confuzzled ::
I have been boycotting the Oscars more or less since 1998.
But I still plan to win one.

| Yes - I tried to write you and it said I couldn't because I'm too old! I felt bad.....
I was only interested in best song and they won! An example - their concert down the street from me, the guy was out playing on the street while the opening act was on...and that's what he did in the movie...if you don't like the music, guess you wouldn't like the movie.

| I'm totally baffled. I've never heard that anyone couldn't e-mail due to an age restriction? I just went searching all over the place and couldn't find anywhere that you can set e-mail restrictions like that, so I don't know how to un-set it. Gah!!!
Mine will be for costume design ;o).
I have mixed feelings about The Golden Age winning for costume design. On the one hand, the costumes are brilliant. On the other hand, they're also sheer, 100% fantasy. Of course, the "history" in the Elizabeth movies is sheer fantasy too.
I'd have gone for Sweeney Todd. Colleen Atwood has always been one of my favorites.
