| I don't know I wish I had some advice. It does seem kinda hard to meet people. I haven't met anyone yet on this site just looking for friends and so far no one has emailed me I don't know whats up with that? I'm an  or so I think I'm an angel

I thought about this alot and I think as we mature we become alot more selective. No one really wants to just settle. We pretty much know what we want and what were looking for in someone. Remember back when you were younger and seemed love was so easy to find. Think about it, you had all the time in the world to look. We were young and the world was ours. As we grow older you really want to find that one special person to grow old with. Not have two go through one date after the other hoping to find that perfect match. As you grow older we also become smarter. We have seen alot and been through alot and do not want to make the same mistakes we made when we were younger. So alot of times you meet someone but a red flag goes up. A feeling of I've been here before, don't want to make that mistake again. We use so much more caution with our hearts than we did in our younger years. Being wiser is a good thing, but it makes finding love a little harder

| Why is it so hard to find someone for what? Have a meaningful relationship with? That's not something you can just find around the corner. Try not setting your expectations so high. Just focus on meeting people and making friends and let the rest take care of itself. Otherwise, you're just going to be frustrated and lonely.

| Agree with most of the above and am learning that this ain't the place....so, hopefully you're not counting on that. Sometimes that needle is found in the haystack, but it's usually when you just sit on it rather than when you're actually looking for it.

| Older is wiser,we are self sufficient,like who we are and have become comfortable being alone....may not be preferred but better than settling just to be in a relationship.
I figure if it happens GREAT!...if not...I'm ok with that..

| whatagirl....... I think you hit the nail on the head.
Also as time goes by I think it just might be harder to be in a living together/married relationship. Meaning the longer you are alone the harder it becomes to be with someone.
I've heard this from so many and yeah I can understand how this can be so.

Your absolutely right. If you don't have it together then your looking for the wrong reason. Ones self has to be whole in order to be in a healthy relationship. Very good point

| Ladies, What you say is so true.
We have to be able to accept ourselves first before we can share with others. I believe it is the key to a good relationship. And yes being alone sometimes gives us a chance to cleanse our souls to accept what lies ahead.
