sorry its a long story. We dated for 9 months, but he moved to California Dec 23. We have known each other for a year in March. He asked me to move with him 2 times when he was drunk. Im just in love with the guy, but i may have to let him go. Hes coming to visit in April. We will see what happens. Hes 46 years old, wouldnt you think he knows what he wants at that age lol.

There's a book called "MEN WHO CAN'T LOVE" by Steven Carter & Julie Sokol. I read it for obvious reasons, you might get a better understanding or what to look out for in guy that's commitment-phobic.

Now the not so serous answer, if he's only wants you when he's drunk. Than he'll need to be drunk all the time for this to work. Not a good sign.

I love a lot of men - I'm not going to marry any of them. And it's unlikey I'd sleep with any of them. Still - I DO love them!

So? Where's the confusion?

loving someone and committing to them are 2 different things just like loving someone and being IN LOVE are 2 different things.

Enjoy his love and IF a committment is to be, IT WILL BE. To force someone to make a committment will leave u empty in the long run. If you have to ask for it, it's not worth having.

One thing about men - they will commit when they want and when they are ready.

What I have learned and maybe this will help and maybe not.

Anyways....someone can say that they love you BUT keep in mind they love you as they know how to love and it may not be the same as the way YOU want to be loved.

Think about it.
