| | 1. No | | 2. Yes | | 3. No, as long as she's healthy | | 4. No, so long as she's thin | | 5. No, so long as she'd not 500 pounds |
I'm getting back into the dating scene and have, very recently mind you, noticed that maybe my size (I'm 60 ponds over weight) might be a factor in my not getting a lot of dates. I'm have people who are friends (two guys and woman) tell me that I'm "beautiful beyond distraction", which was sweet. I'm wondering if they were being nice or is it possible for my match to look past the fat, so to say. does size really matter?

| If you're thinking about whether you should try and lose 60 pounds or not, you should do it for yourself, not because you want to attract a guy. As soon as you attract one and get comfortable in a relationship, you'll probably just gain it right back. If you do it for yourself because you want to feel good about yourself and you want to be healthy, you'll most likely keep it off.

| If your friends tell you that you are beautiful beyond distraction, then you better believe them, beacause they are your true friends. If you believe that you need to lose the weight for "health issues" only and it would make you feel better, than i say lose it. But i think you look very pretty. It is the men who have the biggest concern with the weight issues with women. It is mostly a racist issue. Thin is always in. Thats how it always was, and that is always how it will be, no questions asked. I remember when i was on prednisone, that steroid drug for asthma, and it made me gain alot of weight but it was the only medication to make me breathe at the time. I gained 75 pounds from that drug, and that was with water weight alone, and of course with my own weight i put on by myself with eating because of the side effects but it made my asthma better. I still got dates because your heart never changes. You are who you are. Men are bastards. They just dont' give a damn. They judge you for everything. I put an answer to question number three coming from a woman, but be prepared because you are going to get alot of mixed reactions coming from the guys, but let me tell you something, take a real good look at the guys, they are no george clooney or no tome cruise, so dont sweat yourself girlfriend, you look beautiful. Keep up the good work.

| Getting a big hipped girl from behind is a turn on. Just watching the flesh roll back and forth like waves coming into shore.

| I'm trying to lose weight to be healthy, but I want to date now-ish and, short of painful surgery, I would be a healthy weight for about a year. I know guys are very visual but do they care about waist size just so long as she's stacked?

I just said she was beautiful. She didnt have to change a thing. If she feels comfortable where she is, then so be it. IS that better? LMAOOOOO

| hey girl....don't sweat it! I'm not obese but I'm an intelligent beautiful women who has CURVES myself and say if a guy doesn't want to date me because of my curves then he obviously doesn't care about anything else that really matters in a real lasting relationship. Do you really want a guy to like you for the way you look (wt wise) or for who you are as a person?? Trust me....you have a very pretty face and probably a wonderful personality and someday you'll find a man that will appreciate that. If you're not getting any dates right now then there's a reason for that....bc there isn't any man really worth you're time. Besides...those men that want the "trophy wives" or the "barbie" girlsfriends live in glass houses and should throw stones because I've NEVER met a real life "ken" and if I remember correctly barbie only dates ken

| Be true to yourself. If waist size is an issue than he is not the right one. Be who you want to be and you will find the man that loves you for you.

| chelemtp - for a 34 year old you are smarter than most people I know. I am also a curvy woman (not obese either) but I always feel the guys are looking at the slimmer types. I am happy with the way I look and I will not allow someone else's expectation turn me into Barbie.

| Ok, right back at you ladies. Do you want a man who is overweight or not? I get tired of the topic. Iam not now, but someday will be old, maybe bald, maybe overweight. We all probably will so I am looking for a different connection other than physical. Physical counts but not tops on my list.JMO

| I don't care if the Lady is fat, thin, bald, breastless or something in between. The most important aspect I look for is honesty, truth and devotion to a man who treats her like a Lady. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but, I am right in believing in honesty, caring and loving together in true love.
