| Hello Board, I have arrived at the friend zone with my ex and don't know what to do. I still love her to death and can't stand the thought of her with another guy.. but I don't have that sexual magnetism anymore... I used to feel like ripping her clothes off, but just not there now.... I think I could have her back, but I don't think that would be fair to her. Anybody else in a similar situation? Thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
Newb

| .
been there dude. it was hell cause she looked just like katie holmes and, well, when it was good, it was smokin, so i wanted to smoke any guy with her but i would still me in the joint as a mass murderer if i'd gone that route. just had to let it go for my own peace and sanity. it took years to get easier. had two bi girls move in and that helped a lot.

| If it's not there - it's not there....my advice Move on! Why waste her time or yours. Life is what you make it & you do only have one, so don't make it miserable for yourself. Be the better person & wish her well.
Good Luck in whatever you do though - I wish you the best & her

| I think relationships go through different stages. Do you have kids together? Sometimes the stress of raising a family takes the sexual magnetism out of any relationship. You must have some feelings for her or you wouldn't get so upset about her being with other guys. In your other thread you mentioned that you recently quit drinking. You go through a lot of changes when you first quit drinking so I wouldn't make any rash decisions. Good luck!

| when i got divorced, it was hard to see my x with someone. i too still loved her and to this point i still do.BUT i had to let go. she and i are the best of friends today. we have daughter together and we still communicate. she is married and happy. i did ask her husband to take care of her. knowing how to deal with your feelings about your X's is something that you must work on. wish each other happiness and support. friendship with your x can be a happy time. especially if kids are involved. hang in there. your feelings will change and hope it will be for the better. good luck

| first of all ,,,to Alex wth? no idea what you are speaking about....secondly..we all have jealousy tendencies even when we definitely don't want to ..damn human creatures! we can't controll that..but we do know when to let go and move on....thats why we have the abilities to make choices so we can find happiness
