| thanks for the reply. I agree, but seems like (most) women today do not appreciate or enjoy poetry or letter writting as a part of romance.

| Aww, more likely your post was just overlooked.
Little notes passed between lovers is romantic.
A poem that touches the heart is a treasure.
Any gift that is sincere and heartfelt is always appreciated.
I like the little reminders best of all.

| Letter writing appears to be a lost art form since the advent of e-mail. I used to do it between ISP's but you have to find time to actually sit down and just do it.

| Absolutely! Love letters, love notes (especially found unexpectedly), poetry, writing songs for me (serious or silly), singing to me.....yes....all of it makes me swoon! I love it!

| When I start to get close, emotionally, to someone, I have been known to compose original poetry. More romantic than erotic, stuff like this:
Sweetest flower in the field,
I watch you sway as the breeze does blow.
I wonder if, someday,
Your sweet fragrence I might come to know.

| I despise poetry and love letters. I bet i know what you are thinking, oh here is this bella girl again, what a nasty rude b*tch she is. i just wish she would be gone already like she said she was going to go. Well, hey, i have fan mail, and people adore me, whats a woman to do? I love poetry if it is written by a different author, or if i write my own. I love writing. My favorite subject was English. As far as love letters are concerned, it is too mushy for me. A simple note is just fine. Love you hun, see ya later this afternoon. It don't have to be an essay as if a teacher were to grade it. And i hate roses, but you can win me over with carnations, just in case i meet a nice man on here LMAO, you will have a heads up and be prepared of what my likes and dislikes are because i do like a man on here, maybe one or two, im boiling down to it i guess, but have not had the GUTS, to do it yet, because now is not the time. I am not ready. But once this drama settles down, I will go ahead and get my fishing gear, and reel him in.

| Here's a copy of one I received the other day.....I receive many, of equal beauty, regularly.....to bad we have not yet met.....
I came to you last night, did you feel me? The moon was full so I stood beside your bed watching you, mesmerized by you in the soft glow of the moonlight........ When I heard your even breathing and knew you were asleep, I gently lifted the covers and slipped in beside you.........I nestled into your embrance and pulled your warm body over mine as I laid your head on my shoulder. I watched you thru the night, brushing your hair from your forehead, kissing you softly as I watched you sleep. When the dawn came I reluctantly left your embrace......how I long to be there.....never to leave your side. Open your eyes, look deep into mine, the eyes are the mirror of one's soul.....I am there .....waiting for you to turn these dreams into reality. We have written the words, now we must speak the words of love..........you opened your heart and I came in, as you came into mine.
Now, I ask you, what is there that a woman wouldn't enjoy about that?

| Love letters and poetry is beautiful between two people in a relationship after the trust is gained.
When there is poetry and love letters soon after meeting, that's a red flag for me!
