| I'm new also. It took me a day or two to get a picture online so I could post it. I had to get a friend to take one with his cell phone and then email it to me. Then it was two more days before it showed up on here. Maybe some of those people will have them in a couple of days.

| i think its because they can hide behind the profile shadow so they dont have to be real with any of us they can say what they want and lie as much as they want and have no pic 4 people to look at

| Maybe they aren't as computer savvy as others are. I had to work on getting pics up too. But there likely are some who want to "hide" or "lurk". Plus what if their wife or girlfriend (Or) husband or boyfriend found out? 
Could be trouble!

| Ah! And the Great Debate between the Shadows & the Visables begins again! I am so lucky that I found a few decent people who got to know the real me before I posted a pic. Some here conclusively & consistently say that if you have no pic you must be hiding something. Not always true! I'm a mere techno-tard...not married...not hiding...just a plain old-fashioned computer Neanderthal!!! Thanks Krupa for being one of the first to "see" the real me!

| I'll read the profile of someone who sent me a wink or email with no photo if they are within the age range I am looking for. If it looks at all interesting I'll email them and ask them if they have a photo. A lot of times I never get a response back. Weird. Why bother to wink at me or send me an email if you're not even going to respond???
Now I won't even bother looking at a profile if the person is way out of the age range I would consider.
