| being that we all are on a "date site', why is it that when a man sends women a nice msg, they don't have the decency to respond, even though..............we're all on this website for a reason.........
funny thing is, women say they don't want you to send a wink.
men, i guess, would be guilty of this too so this isn't a pot shot at women.

| I don't want winks....but then again I don't want "Hey baby....wanna see me c*ck?" (which, I've been known to get)....when I get those, I delete. Yeah, I'm guilty of hitting the delete button.

| if i'm not interested i won't send a message back, especially if i can tell someone didn't read my profile because if they did they wouldn't have written. some guys kinda set themselves up for getting no responses.

if a man sends you a nice msg, basically describing himself and his position in a non sexual, non demeaning way, you don't respond. yet if a guy sends a wink, then you complain. hmmmm

| if a guy sends me a nice email, saying hi, yadda, yadda, yadda...I'll respond with a simple "hi" back. There is someone I'm interested in on here right now, so I limit my conversations and emails just because its a personal choice.

| If I get a nice and appropriate message from someone I will always respond. If I'm not interested for one reason or another my usual response is, "Thanks for the interest, but I'm looking for __(fill in the blank)__". Usually the person is simply to far away. I'm really looking for someone local to actually meet. If you're 1,000 miles away it's going to be extremely difficult to ever meet. However, there are always exceptions to the rule, especially if traveling is an option for one or both of us.
I won't always respond to winks. If you can't come up with at least a "Hi, how are you" we probably won't be chatting much anyway.

| Gee, I read a profile to decide how I want to interact with someone, whether it's just a private response to one of their forum posts, or a more "interested" approach.
I always send a personalized email.
