I hate to be the bearer of bad news but.... Because of your age and therefore the age of the men that you are dating you should understand this.... Most of the guys your age are not ready to be fathers however they do like sex, quite a set up hun? They are not ready for the responseibility of their own life let alone a baby. Because you are pregnant they beleive that you will have sex with them on the first date. It is a cruel joke that God has played on young men. He gave them a brain and a penis but, only enough blood to use one at a time, then just for fun he created gravity. Guess what happened!?!? Yup your right. Ther are young guys out there that will not care who got you pregnant and will love you and your baby as their own but they are few and far between. If you find one hold on tightly because you have found a rare prize indeed.
Good Luck

| I know I'm rather wierd in some ways, especially my taste in women, but one thing I could never understand is someone being "ready" for sex without being prepared for the added responsibilities of life that may come through the sex act. I just think if one is not ready to deal with the potential consequences of sex then they are not ready to have sex, period.
But like I said, I am rather wierd.
I want to have a rewarding relationship with a lady but I do not want either of us hurt by it...

| Okay, this may be a stupid question, but I just have to ask it anyway.
If you're pregnant, what the heck are you doing worrying about dating in the first place?
I just think that is so totally creepy. I understand that many women have to face pregnancies alone for a lot of different reasons; I've been there myself. The absolute LAST thing on my mind was dating, for sex OR companionship. I had *more* than enough on my plate preparing to deal with being a mother, and a single mother at that.
Plus, if any guy had asked me out at that point, I would have thought he was OUT of his FRIKKIN MIND.
Obviously, you just had a personal relationship that tanked in a huge way, or you wouldn't be pregnant and alone. Don't you think some time spent contemplating how you ended up here might be in order, before you start looking for the next romantic disaster?

| Sorry about your loss young lady!
I dated a pregnant woman. See my photo (the girl in it with me is the result). I also dated the same woman when she was pregnant with my two boys.
You'll probably meet some nice young doctor type in the next few months. What a wonderful life the future holds for you.

| 1st of all I'm way too old for you. that said your a very attractive woman and the fact that you are pregnant is incredible turn on for some men, not to say your easy or anything near, but still a real turn on. I found my ex to be that way when she was pregnant. So good luck

| Sorry for your loss, and I know that you are lonely, and "longing" for the companionship of a man, but you also said that you were not "desparate" for one? It's a dichotomy, or contradiction in terms, between "desparate and longing"! You're not, but you are? What type of relationship would you have with a man, if there is no desire on your part for sex? You seem to be in need of male companionship, yet not for sex, so what kind of guy would be attracted to just being with you for??? Think about it. What do you really want, a man to stand by you while you go through your pregnancy? Or, is it your need to feel wanted for yourself, inspite of your coming birth, with a likelihood of him staying with you to father his own children with you? Lot's to consider, and as you are so young now, you will survive, and I'm sure you will be a good mother, man or not. Persevere, and keep looking, as there might be one who enjoys being the support and the companionship
that you seem to need now. Good luck!

| I had to EDIT my post after I read about your loss. sorry about that. Whether you are pregnant or not, depending on the guy you meet, will have certain characteristics already that doesn't have to do with your prenancy.
Some men wouldn't date you, some men are greedy and don't give a S whether you are pregnant or not, and few are out there that will look at this and date you for who you are. At your age, a lot of men are not ready for a family yet, in particular someone else's baby. Real Talk
Good luck with your future endeavors. But you are best not worry about dating. Worry about the baby and move on with your life. In time, you will meet a decent guy.
