| You know, I was the one reluctant to meet at first..then when I realized that people out there in the world that I might consider dating, I wouldn't exactly know them either..But, then I began to see a pattern..Most people want to send a wink, write a few emails & never, never meet..I didnt think there would be that many players on this site..But quite frankly I am about to take my name off & quit this..I think people who want to be serious & not play with peoples feelings...should be on here..but, then again, it's like the real world...u have 10 million goofballs & pudheads..til u meet that one particular gem..quite frankly i dont have the time for the bs...though..Thats my thought on it for the day...

| Consider this.....got plenty of people to screw me over right here in my hometown. I dig writing and calling some really good people here. Occasionally sending or recieving mail or packages. Having nice people appreciate me and getting to apprecieate them without my/thier looks being brought to bear. Here you have the luxury of actually getting to know someone before you put yourself face to face with them.
If you are just looking to hook up and snag whatever is within your arms reach....go to the bar. I never had a problem picking up someone there.

| A site is what you make of it. Whether online or in the real world there are always players. Messaging back and forth privately, I can get a feel of a person of who they are, their interests, and whether or not we will click online as well as in real life. Some don't pan out but some do and the one that does then it is determined whether they feel the same and what steps need to be taken next. Meeting is one of the steps to see if chemistry is there. If it chemistry is there then keep the communication going is essential until relocation for one of the party has been done. Don't be in a rush to get into a relationship. Relationships take time to develop.

| southbuster, I have learned that I can know someone for 11+ years and still I don't know them. Situations change and so do people. I trust someone 100% til they prove me otherwise. A few have change that trust and once it is gone it is difficult to get that trust back.

| You need to go and look at women's profiles and then send a wink or two. Don't expect everyone to come to you.
In answer to the question I cannot meet up with some of the fabulous guys on here because of my location (Australia) so you ladies really should make the most of such lovely men.
I originally joined the Aussie site and got linked up through here. It is certainly fun emailing and getting to know different people (male and female) but I do wish I could go that extra step in some cases.

it's safe to hide here and to act silly in the chats!
you make alot of friends, but it don't go anywhere!
if you've ever read my profile or read some of my postings you know that i'm seriously trying to get a live in companion, yet i get ladies that write a couple of letters and act surprised when i tell them to join me! then they run away!
