| I just had to share this experience. I started wearing contacts a few months ago. I had some money leftover in my medical account that I had to spend, so I decided to order several different colors of contact lenses. They are the 2 week disposables. I have been working with the same people 7 days a week, side by side, and only one has noticed that my eye color has been changing from green, blue, aqua, brown, and back to another color every few weeks. I work with men as well as women, so it made me wonder, do you really notice other people?

| I think if any of the ladies I work with on a daily basis (about 10 of them) were to change eye colour, I would definitely notice. The other 220 people in the office, probably not as I don't see them that often or pay a lot of attention to them.

| I work in a small area, 4 people per shift, lol and it was not one of the 4 who noticed.
Maybe I notice, because eyes and smiles are the first things I look at in a person??

| Ever notice that when you go to climb stairs, you look at the first one or two and then don't look at the others until you reach the top? Maybe it's the same kind of thing. they noticed your eyes maybe when yo first started, made a mental note of your eye color and then stored it in the back of their heads. Who counts the stars on the U.S. flag after first grade? Hell, they could slip in two or three new ones and most of us would never notice.

| Some people are highly attentive. Most people really don't care at all. lol People buy nice clothes and do all the details because it makes themselves feel more comfortable the most.

| I'm a person who is absolutely horrible about noticing physical things about other people. One of my best friends cut her hair super short. I was with her for two hours before I noticed. However, I tend to notice things about people that aren't seen... for example, a customer at work that has checked out with me three times is a young woman who is moving into her first apartment. I could tell you the number of rooms and how she's decorating them, that it's her first time living on her own, that she never thinks to make a list and that's why she has to keep coming back. Yet if I saw this lady again, I wouldn't recognize her face. If I remember anything about a person, it's usually what they were wearing the last time I saw them... obviously not a good idea considering that -hopefully- they'll have changed their clothes!

| I've noticed a couple of different people's eyes , that I don't even know. One was an elderly lady, and=other was a 20's something man. Both had colored lens in. They were just too perfect to be real, and that's what got me to notice their eyes.
If someone isn't noticing your eyes, they are probably noticing something else about you.

| I think it depends on the circumstance and how much contact you have with people to really notice significant qualities or even abnormalties. Physical attributes will be immediate yet people sometimes have trouble making eye contact. keep that in mind
