| I lost my wife a short time ago but we meet online 9 years ago and talked for a while online and then agreed to meet and spent 5 hours talking in a shoneys over my coffee and her tea.It never felt like we were there that long but after that we were an item from that moment on.We were married for eight wonderful years,never had a fight,an arguement or a crossword.I had found my soulmate an nothing else mattered.We didn't care about were or how we lived it was just like the song says"all you need is love."We were such aperfect match,we complemented each other so well that she was my soulmate,my best friend,my lover and the one that gave me strenght to get through all the hard times we had but through it all we were side by side and just as happy as anyone can be.I am sad to say that I lost her a short time ago and now I am lost without her but from the time we meet it was like we were supposed to be together.So love at first sight does exist and I thank God I was blessed with it for 9 wonderful years.

| Yes there is such a thing as love at first site. As I to met my soul mate and was with him for only 14 months when he had a heart attack. That was 6 years ago. I will never forget what it felt like when i first saw him. Wow what a trip down a wonderful memory lane.

| Just an observation: It seems like you often hear of people who found each other like this within a (relatively) short period of one of them passing.
I've always thought that this was God's way of giving someone the wonderful gift of peace and happiness during their final time here. I think He picks really special people to provide that happiness to them.
I'm sorry for your losses, but happy that you had the chance to experience and give that gift.

| I too believe in love at first site. I believe that our life is designed for us already it is just the journey to getting there that is left to us. You have been fortunate to feel a love that very few people can say that they have experience. My condolences on your loss. When one door shuts, another one opens.

| Oh yes it exist the problem is with all the BS going on in dating some people think if you fell for them too fast youre looking to get laid. It ain't always that way. Some people are looking for someone to spend the rest of their life with and it doesn't take forever to know that. But like always the actions of some, can mess it up for others Love unlike lighting can strike more than once in the same heart for those of you who have lost someone, I hope it can strike you again.

| i use to think so. not so sure anymore. i think u be infatuated with soemone upon meeting them. but love, that's a very deep emotion to b giving up immediately! but hey....ya never know, do ya!
