Societal conditioning and evolutionary preference.
I, personally, like a woman to weigh less than I do, and be fit. Not disproprortionate and anorexic like "Barbie", but a healthy weight.

| Love yourself and accept yourself. I see these types of threads all the time and to me it sounds like confidence isn't there. I am by no means height porportion to weight and either a person likes me for who I am or they don't. I can't change people, I can only change myself.

| Right, chopperbabe. We can't change what really matters to us, and we shouldn't change ourselves simply for others, except in ways that we either don't care about (I don't care weather I keep my goatee or not, for example), or because we want to change for ourselves anyway.
I do think it's a bit shallow of me to not find large women attractive, but I don't, for sufficiently large values of large. I weigh 147 lbs. and a lot of men would find a woman that heavy "fat", so I don't think I'm all that shallow to just want someone who weighs less than I do.
