| it would depend on the situation actually I was on a date one time and we were riding around and came across this guy beating up his wife in town on the sidewalk .. my date stopped the car and pulled the guy off of her as it turned out he knew the couple and got the guy calmed down..she finally divorced him ..

| a few summers ago, i was in cambridge, mass, when i saw a couple arguing on the street. i watched for a few seconds. but when he grabbed her by the hair, i realized, someone's gotta do something. i don't think he's gonna wanna do that again! at least not in public.

| although i dont agree with consuming the time of the local authoritys with minor issues, definatley if it becomes abusive somthing must be done i thingk somtimes just getting them to realize that there are people watching can help settle the dispute.
BUT i do realize that when people thingk abuse they immediatly thingk of the male, although some female can be just as bad if not worse. but yes this is a problem more common among males (obviosly) My question is this-if it was the female being abusive would u still call the police?

| Not so much an "argument" but this one day at Wally world, I say this woman hurrying through the store. She was screaming "hurry up you stupid bastards" and "If you don't walk faster Im gonna beat the f*ck out of you." She was screaming these profanities at her two young boys. I was inraged! I ran over to her, poked her in the shoulder and told her EXACTLY what a pile of shit she was. (i used a few more words then that)
How could someone talk to their kids like that?
Disgusting.
Im know if I saw two adults just arguing, I would leave them alone.....but if they were getting physical, or using profanity I would step in.
