| Please help me ladys. Just about all your profiles say basically that your looking for that roomantic nice guy. Well why does it seem to me and so many others that i talk too, that all the nice girls are hooked up with a--holes? I have tryed to figure this out since high school. I have my thoughts. | Nice good guys are usually shy and a little less self sure of themselves. More introverted and sad to say the bungholes are more extroverted in their personalities and aren't intimidated or bashful. For every one girl a good guy asks, the bad boys ask ten. Odds are not in the favor of shy quiet good guys.

I am very romantic and love to spoil the person I am with. I have kids and love kids. I have a very good job and make good money to help. So I gues being a good guy is out.

| ge0ge0 I agree with you. But after the guy breaks the ice he is usally alot more out going and more comfortable to be alot of fun. But somewhere down the road they seem to start looking at the a--holes again!

Yes, this is part of the answer, right there...
I was watching "The Holiday" the other day, and Kate Winslet's character, Iris, had a very nice answer to it. Now, she was talking why guys always seem to go for a bad girl, but her answer can also apply to your question. Here is what she said:
Because you're hoping you're wrong. And every time she does something that tells you she's no good, you ignore it. And every time she comes through and suprises you, she wins you over, and you lose that argument with yourself, that she's not for you.
I think it says it all...JMO

| HOLD IT HOLD IT!!!!! I can not read any more of this self serving BS! Guys, we love you or we wouldn't be here. That said, too often the a-hole guys stimulate women to try to change them into 'nice' guys. As we know that won't happen. My experience with the few nice guys I've met is they try too hard and it is a turn off. Be true to yourself, we'll see it. Also, remember when you say "I'll call ya" dang it DO IT!! George, I'm just down the road from you and have seen too many gamers in and around Tally town. It's a college town so if you're over 30 your life's going to suck unless you can really put yourself out there. Not in the bars tho. Best of luck to all you nice guys.
