I have a question.

If your Husband/Wife is e-mailing back and forth to another person, expressing their feelings about how much they care towards one another; would that be considered cheating?

If your spouse is flaunting the obvious that he/she is being secretive, do you have the right to be assumptive?

If they are discussing romantic feelings for each other, yes , Iwould consider it to be cheating. They have broken bond of trust.

Yeah it is at a very minimum emotional cheating. And if he/she is being so secretive and you are really suspicious that it's out of control and you own that computer. Find a good keystroke logging software and find out exactly whats shaking. That is if its that important.

Damn straight it is! I know this guy who was married for about 20 years and he came home one day and she was gone. The nasty cow had left him and the three boys to go to america to be with her secret lover she had for about 2 years. She had never met him before- only ever chatted on the net, emailed and talked on the phone a few times. The poor guy and those poor boys were shattered. The eldest boy absolutely hated his mother for it and the two younger ones were left wondering why their mum had left them. It is so f*cking wrong!

absolutely would consider that cheating. If you say you are committed to a person in a relationship would you really have a need to be with others. I guess thats a question of morality some have it some dont.

Yes it’s cheating….you’re telling someone else your most intimate thoughts besides your spouse/mate, the one whom you made a promise or a vow too to be honest, honor, and trust... I too have seen where the internet chatting has destroyed lives…mine….so I suggest you nip this in the bud…get the computer out in the open, not in an office/bedroom. Talk to your spouse, tell him/her your concerns, give the scenario if it was you doing this, how would they feel…find out why they feel compelled to talk to someone else instead of you? Are we really listening to our “mate”…or are we having selective hearing? My opinion...and of course,we all have one...

I agree and thundergod said it best...

It is emotional at this point but would become physical. Some look at it as not cheating unless it is physical...not for me. I'd say emailing emotions is definiately cheating!!!!

Yes. There's physical cheating and emotional cheating and intimate cheating....

different jokes for different folks

if you're married to someone and this is occurring - it violates the relationship of your marriage... unless you have an open, agreed relationship that allows this type of thing within the confines of vows....

yes, if they are discussing their feelings for each other then the only thing missing is the screwing. That's about as cheating as it can get.

If they are friends and just chatting about things in general and maybe even venting to each other that is NOT cheating, but if they are talking about how they feel TOWARDS EACH OTHER, then something is a foot!!!!
