dobid Mattoon, IL age: 53	lets hear some people that have a sollution to the problem.the way i understand this its not the cops who will enforce this,its a person like the liquer commissioner.that comes around and says surprise.pops you for any gambling or gnats in your bottles.i cant see any way they are going to be able to say,your allowing smoking in hear i can smell it!there just isnt any evidence.unless hes just lucky and happens to walk in while your lighting one up.the dept.of health has been trying to enforce no smoking behind the bar or kitchen for years.if your bar serves food.but they are not to great at it cause ive seen lots of cooks and bartenders smoke behind the bar. the state has taken the stance that this is the way its gonna be and we just are not going to listen to your objections.and they dont care even if you happen to live in the same building you have your own bar.like you live up above.to bad you gotta go out and smoke. its totally stupid like in a public park where your outside.how are you blowing second hand smoke on anyone.ballparks are the same way.you pay to go in to be uncomfortable.i just dont go now to any of them.what can be done about this?lets get real about it now! whalemstr Corning, CA age: 51	not here in collieforneea against the law to smoke in any building now - public gonna nail people for smoking in car if kids are in it too - new law starts soon some towns are even banning outside smoking in public areas already have to stay at least 20+ feet away from an entrance to buildings too no smoking in bars and restaraunts been around a long time out here oh well i wanna quit again someday

flaws_n_all28 Fulton, NY age: 28	mbk & foxy: i'm a smoker and i really don't care who likes it. you don't like it get the hell outta my face. forget about the complainers of smokers. they sell 'em we buy 'em, and until these certain people start paying for my cig's. they can kiss my white ass. always having issues with smokers...-it causes cancer-well, so does sex. -it makes them sick-so does alcohol I COULD GO ON AND ON BUT IT'S USELESS. would they rather they legalize crack,weed,cocaine,pcp,lsd, and then we can all be drug addicts. would that be better for these biased people.?

styxie Louisville, KY age: 41	rock on foxy!!! i like what you said. now heres something to think about: THEY OUTLAW SMOKING BECAUSE IT HAZARDOUS TO PEOPLE'S HEALTH: 1) outlaw fking vehicles--they pollute 2) allow me to determine the size of your house, and how much utilities you can use in it--most electricity gotten from burning fossil fuel--it pollutes 3) outlaw all yard/landcaping power tools and use only the "leave it to beaver" type lawncare equip. gas powered lawnmowers pollute. 4) outlaw all types of manufacturing--it pollutes 5) outlaw any type of lifestyle other than "caveman" lifestyle--because modern lifestyle is dependent on things that make pollution. now, if all those fking non-smokers out there want to keep it real AND BE FAIR, than they need to modify their lifestyle as to NOT POLLUTE MY LUNGS!!!!! their suv driving, fancy a** way too large house living produces more pollution to lungs than all us smokers combined in the same room!!!!

luvwild Brooklyn, NY age: 41	In New York you can't smoke in ANY building. As a matter of fact, there are several out door places, such as Bryant Park, where you cannot smoke. My brother won't let me in his car if I just had a cigarette, even if I put it out. My sister told her son that I am a bad person because I smoke. He is already 12 years old and doesn't believe his mom. Can't smoke on planes, in trains, buses,or cabs. I hate having to go outside for a smoke if I'm in a bar or club. I always loved having a cigarette with my drink. And we've all seen musicians play with cigarettes hanging from their mouths or tucked into the head stock.
