| i assume you are asking about previous mates? In my case, it was becuase I was working out of town and whenever I came home, she would make it a point to come see me every day that I was home. I guess, she chased me until I caught her! Before any one laughs, we were happy together for nearly eight years.

| I was drawn to him because he was the opposite of me in some ways.
He was outgoing, "the life of the party", talkative, protective...made me feel protected and safe. Of course....he was a very handsome, rugged looking artist.
He was also creative, intelligent, well educated, articulate, good sense of humor (similarities to me)
Unfortunately, opposites attract but don't always live well together. Some of those things that initially drew me to him...became the very things that were issues in the marriage.
I was very young...too young to make good decisions about men or relationships. I was 19 and he was 31. Looking back, I see that all the signs were there that it would not be a good relationship....but I was too young and too inexperienced to recognize the signs.
I hope I'm wiser in the next "round".

| We needed each other at the time....over time.....our needs changed.
As Oprah has said, people enter your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime, we just have to figure out which of the three applies.

| I can relate to two of the above posts...He told me what I wanted to hear & I sucked it up, and the deep emotions ( he too had no emotions ) This last one told me I had Angel Hair, and was sent to him from above...MALARKEY!!!!!!! All I did was rescue him from the Bimbo before me that helped him destroy his 39 year marriage. I should have been smarter then that, once a Cheater always a Cheater! Live and Learn, again
