Ok I just came home from a date that the almost never happened and it was the only good
date that I have had so far.

I am sure we all have our bad dating stories and at first tonight I thought this
was just going to another tale in the dating saga. We met on-line, exchange some
emails for a few weeks and he asked me out to dinner for a Thursday night.
Well he called and canceled the day before. So we set a date for the following
Tues. I had to cancel because something came up at the school, so I called and left an email. I didn't log back on-line for days. He had sent me an email asking for Thursday night, I never got the email. Come Thursday he calls an hour before the supposed date time asking if we were still on. I was in shock, I didn't remember agreeing to meet him.
We figured what went wrong and I suggested lets just meet for dinner on Friday.

Well Friday comes, I call to say I am running late and he laughs because he is too.
So we agreed to meet an hour later. Well I get to the place on time and I wait.
Actually I wait and wait. Finally I start to wonder just how long needs to pass before
you know you've been stood up? So I figured after 45 mins Ok it's time to go just accept
that you've been stood up. Just as I open my car door to get in and leave, I hear him call my name. We both start to laugh. He suggests that we go somewhere else to have dinner I agree. We just drove around and decide to stop at Fridays.

We started talking and it was so mutual and so wonderful neither of us really look at the menu. We're having a blast and a wonderful conversation. It just flowed. So much so that the waiter is annoyed with us having to come ask us 5 times if we are ready to order. I didn't enjoy the food but the company was outstanding. When we finish he asked if I would join him for a drink else where. I accepted and we haggled a bit on where to go. Once decided he agrees to follow me. Somehow in two turns I lost him. (gotta laugh)
So I just go home. He's called so I call him back and again we laugh. He too is almost home. At this point I am thinking just call it a night.

Well this outstanding guy turns around and comes all the way back to meet me at the new place. Again it was nice, relaxing, mutual, and comfortable. We talked for hours and enjoyed the music. When we leave he wants to walk me to my car but I am parked much further away. So he drives me to my car. We chat a bit more, I thank him and he asked to kiss me. Usually I tell a man no without a problem. This time I hesitated gathering my thoughts and he just goes ahead and kisses me. The second his lips touched mine it felt right so I did kiss him back. Very nice, he takes my breath away and leaves me with a smile.

This really did turn out to be nice night. Sometimes the bumps in the date just happen but you can still enjoy the adventure.

So here's wishing all of you a nice date....
