First I agree with OHFarmboy. A photo or two of your pride and joy is nice. Other than that, most guys scanning your profile are interested to find out about you. Anyone you allow to go beyond scanning your profile will learn about your family. (On a darker note - posting pictures of tykes and children on the Internet, regardless of the innocent reason in your heart for doing that, is not necessarily a good thing. I'll leave it to you to figure out why!)
... but anyway ...
You have no need to hide behind your grand children. You're too cute to hide! ... and the best photo of you is too small. I suggest if you have that main photo in a larger size, upload it! Show off those beautiful brown eyes ... and such a pretty smile can only be more fetching if enlarged.
The rest is well done. Your self description is detailed enough yet short enough that most guys will make it through the whole thing. Your writing style shows a casualness in your nature.
The rest is "fluff" (in my opinion) but that's just my artist's eye and I tend to be a minimalist (except when I write). I guess all the flash catches the attention of some folks. Personally I don't think you need all the fluff. Your paragraph and photos are attention getting enough!
... but that's just my criteque! Shoot! I don't know how to do this stuff any more than the next person!
