Women, Would you be less ikely to take an interest in a guy if you found out that he was an avid shooter?

Men, would you be more inclined to take an interest in a woman who was an avid shooter?

NOTE: I'm not discussing hunting and all that some attach to it, just the hobby of target shooting.

By the way, it is my intention that the scope of this thread include brief discriptions of your favorite firearms. Pictures if you must.

I am a gun owner. My arsenal consists of: Two Navy Arms .32-20 Single Action Six Shooters; One 1882 Original Colt Lightening, pump action rifle in .32-20 caliber; One Winchester, original Model 93 from 1892 in .32-20 caliber; One Baikal Russian made, double barreled shotgun with "mule ear" hammers in 12 cauge. I have these weapons because I participate in a shooting sport called Cowboy Action Shooting. We get dressed up like characters out of the Old West and shoot against each other.

As for women shooting...I support it. Some of the women I've seen are pretty dang good!

In Viet nam we had 20 mm rapid fires---on the same level as a gatling gun--6000 rounds a minute. We had an old C 119 gunship that saw action in Korea dropping cargo and troops in parachutes. The plane had a really odd statement painted on it---HAPPINESS IS A BELT FED WEAPON. I never shot a gun after I came home--I had a bit of a rough time with the general public not liking veterans of that war. But a hobby shooter or a hunter is an accomplished gun user--with all the respect for what a firearm can do. I don't express an opinion on such things--I mind my own business.

I myself would welcome the idea of a lady owning and competing with firearms.
I've made it no secret on here that I am an active IPSC shooter. I think it would be nice to have a partner in life that understands my love of guns and the sport. Just something else that we could do together. (Talk about an interesting date)

I have way too many guns to list here, but lets just say I'm pretty much ready for anything.

WHO WOULDN'T WANT TO DATE THIS BABE?

I have been around firearms all my life...I can takethem or leave them....but, for home defence I prefer my bastard sword or my wicked assed morning star.....a gun can go off on accident.....a sword don't.

I enjoyed target practice in the military just for something to do - not a hunter or firearm owner now. I have no problem with women owning guns for this or protection.

I am my own lethal weapon. Noone comes near me, and now I know why. I am pretty scary in the dark and light. I accidentally walked by a woman with my purse and hit her. She said to me EXCUSEEEEE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE....SORRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYY......Real meannnnnn...So as i watch professional wrestling, god i learn from that show. you just have to love it....... I did what one wrestler does. I stopped dead in my tracks. She was with her husband. I stopped. My back turned against her. Than I looked back at her giving her the most evil eye that not even the devil could give. And i clenched my fists....as hard as i could...yea that italian temper, much more harsher than a gun, and she just walked on by. I was ready for her....she didnt have to use those words. They were possesive. I like plural nouns. ....as far as guns, as long as they are not pointed at me, i dont care where you point em at. If i find one pointed at me, i will kick ya, and no not down below, oh no people. I know exactly where. So i am well aware of guns. Have a blast. But just lock them up pleaseeeeee....and i will block my eyes when you are ready to take it out and do what you want with it...

lost in, women happen to be the fastest growing segment of the shooting sports. I know a lot of women who own an use firearms, 2 who have used them for protection. Successfully, I might ad! I enjoy shooting/hunting, very active in it. My favorites, Kimber Classic in .243, and a Springfield XD in 45 auto, Which has replaced my Colt Gold Cup.

oh sweet Jesus in the Morning... we were raised with guns and a very good eye on the target
( The bad guy).
My Grandmother, Laura, ( Indian / Native American ) strapped one under her long dress and taught her Grand Daughters ( all 10 of us, girls ) just how to use it.
What a trailblazer!!!

A Bushmaster .223, Remington Model700 in .308, a Savage model 116 in .270 a Winchester Model 70 in .300 Win Mag, A benelli Nova 12 gauge, A Savage Model93 in .17 HMR some other shotguns a couple more .22 rifles and a Remington 700 in >223 I think thats most of em........

I am not into guns, won't have one in my house. So yes it would prevent me from dating/marrying a man who is into it.

No ,Guns are fine with me if you know the proper way to handle them.I was raised around them, good for protection. One time I went to a sportsman club, I tried to hit the bird or whatever that came out .You had to step up to the microphone and say pull.Well I was trying to say pull in a sexy quiet voice but that didn't work the bird would't come out. Finally my X husband said scream pull so I did then it came out.I missed them all.It was fun .It was fun to target shooting.

Bella you so bad youre gonna have every guy on here (but me) living in fear that some day you'll kick his door in a whup up on him with your purse for a bad thread.

I LOVE guns, had them all my life and made my living carring them. It's always better to have and not need, than need once and not have! Without the second ammendment the others are unenforcable. And now that I'm so old and feeble if I didn't have a gun or Bella to protect me a gang of parapalegic midgets might beat me up
