soulstorm Elizabeth City, NC age: 45	Israeli claims of 86-to-0 kills-to-losses seems a little far-fetched. The MiG-23 was lethal against SAAF over Angola during the Battle for Cuito Cuarnavale when flown by pilots from the FAR.

soulstorm Elizabeth City, NC age: 45	The reporting of the events over Lebanon in the West in June 1982 were exaggerated. MiG-23's did better than was reported.It has already been shown that MiG-15's did much better than believed over Korea and the US had about a 2-1 kill to loss ratio over Vietnam.Many Americans are intensely nationalistic/patriotic and thus don't see the whole picture.
