| I can relate to the listed ones. The abbreviations that bother me are when someone makes a starts shortening words and using numbers. "How r u doing" "What r u here 4". Another one of those is "Catch u l8r" That's just plain laziness!

| I support the English language. I do not appreciate text talk, LOLcats, or any website with a number followed by "chan" as their address. I will, on occasion, use "lol." Aside from that, the only time I ever use the text talk is when I'm making fun of someone. A can somewhat understand people using this on their cell phones since, if I'm not misunderstanding, the companies charge for text messages according to length. However, there's really no excuse to be doing that in an e-mail, on AIM, etc. But then, I'm an English snob.
