Thank you all so much for your congrats…never expected to be the one to pull the lucky straw. I won by luck which seems to have changed with the new year for me.
2007 was a very unlucky year starting in …
Jan. …..the death of my brother
Jan. …..the death of my 15-year-old dog
March.….the death of my first cousin
May…....the death of another first cousin
June…...the end of a 12 year relationship
Nov. …..lost of all floors in my entire house due to a flood (they were only 2 years old)
Not to mention all the usual unlucky things that happens, such as…
...Expensive car repairs
...Broken dryer
...Broken hot water heater (that caused flood)…etc.
...Also, the unbelievable stress of my job for the entire year.
My luck did a major change for the good on ….
...Dec. 19th 2007, with the birth of my grandson. He was born healthy and beautiful.
...Feb. 2008…my insurance issued me a check to cover cost of all my flooring.
...In addition, my job has become bearable again.
The luck of winning DH Queen has made me see how things have changed for me.
I realize I should thank my lucky stars for all the things I have and be grateful for them.
Grateful for my family
Grateful my kids are healthy
Grateful I am healthy
Grateful for my job
And
Grateful for my friends…
I have made some very good friends here, some I know I will stay in touch with long after I leave this site.
I love all you guys!…
