| I have at times asked men if they object to plastic surgery or not?
Some men feel that it is perfectly acceptable (and wanted) for thier woman to get plastic surgery to enhance or even create attributes that they desire.
Others feel that plastic surgery is not ok, you should keep the things God gave you the way you are...and it is not worth the money or the health risk.
What do you think guys? Is it perfectly ok, to get plastic surgery to enhance your looks or should be just love ourselves the way we are and expect people to accept us as is?

| I agree with ugot2bekidding on both points...
But hey, if you are seriously insecure about something and cannot overcome how you feel about it -- then change it. YOU will feel better.
"it's none of our business what other people think about us." It's your life.

| Plastic surgery? hmmm. My first thoughts are No, don't go there.
Plastic Surgery to augment oneself seems like a fix to a low self-esteem issue.
Plastic surgery to give something to someone because they 'want it that way' is shallow.. When will they ever be happy? When will it ever stop?
I accept people for who they are, as they are.. unchanged.. natural.. unique and special in every way.
I may not be the norm, but at least I am unique!

| Well, this was not necessarily a point for me specifically, although, believe it or not, there are things about this gorgeous body that I would like to improve (having two children will do that to you...lol) and genetics play a part...but thank you for the compliments....lol
Let me ask you though, for those who say "go natural, all the way", what about laser eye surgery? It is not necessary, not for medical purposes, anyway...but it definately has a benefit...no more glasses or contacts....it definately changes your look.
and I think the question about where you stop has to do with people that use common sense and people that are trying to persue an idea of social expectations....
We do all kinds of crazy things, color our hair, wear makeup, what's the difference?
By the way tlc and wandering.... you happen to be beautiful women as is...no enhancements could make you any more so...

| Yes, Drumr.....you are a fine speciman of a man...don't change one thing...look at what happened to Kenny Rogers...lol
And Wish..you're just gonna have to find out for yourself....lol.....you with that fine body of yours...lol
But that does bring up a good point, is is worth the risk of having a procedure done and risking having it go badly? That would be very, very bad....Jessica Simpson lips..shudder....
Then there is the subject of money....all of you that have voted for the natural look....
are you sure you would say to your significant other that their saggy boobs are just fine, or that they don't need to get rid of the charpe' look that is starting to form around their neck? How about having them go from having a pouchy belly to a flat one in a bikini?
I personally loved my grandmother and think fondly of her and would not have wanted her to have surgery to make her look younger if she wanted She was a hard woman, but so very bright,up until the end (she died at 96). I prefer to think of her with all of what society would consider and condem as "flaws".....but we that have grown up in the age of MTV and mass comercialism don't see value in those hard earned crow's feet or the sagging jowls, or flabbiness that makes us so much softer as we get older......
We think that acne scars and boobs that are not "perky" are a detriment to our value as a person, or am I just thinking about this one too hard.....lol

| Karma, OK.. you are thinking about this too hard. LOL
Yea, we all see the Hollywood types, their surgeries, their successes, and, their fiascos. (hey, I read the tabloid headlines when I am standing in line at the grocery store too!)..
I could be a prime example for a hair transplant.. Do I want to do it? nah.. I opt not to. I could also elect to have Lasik.. I researched it a bit.. I talked to a close friend who had it. The first six months, they said it was great. Now, after a year, they are having a few problems. Not sure if I want to play with my eyes..
As far as women go, sure, they could do lipo, or lifts, or tucks.. but, I will stick to my original answer.. just let me accept you as you are...
