| And no you dont have to be rich. You just have to know how to be able to live with in your means and not be in so much debt that you cant see your way out, and your about ready to loose everything.

| Local is difficult. I understand--I moved to Kansas away from all my family and friends. There aren't too many prospects here.
Just getting out of college, it sometimes seems a bit overwhelming with all student loan repayments and everything; however, I do consider myself living within my means. As a new teacher, its going to take a while to build up into something more secure. I look forward to growing everyday.
For me, its a transitional time. If a girl is cool with just hanging out and going out to dinner periodically, I am all for it; however, if she is looking for some guy to buy her diamonds every week and smother her with chocolates and flower deliveries, I am not that man--not yet anyways.
Good luck finding a good guy in Oregon.

| Thats another good one. All these people who drop out of school . Then dont want to advance themselfs and try to become more but yet they complain about how they are't getting anywhere. Dont get me wrong there are successful people who dont finish college, or highscholl but I seem to find the uneducated ones. Ithink it might have to do with where I live. I tell ya what, This town seems to not have any good single men that I have yet to meet. All the successful ones seem to be taken.

I am not looking for someone to shower me with gifts. I dont need or want anything that I dont already have. Sure there are things that I would like to have later on in life. But dang, just be responsible and pay things on time, if you get speeding tickets, dont wait till the come and arrest you to pay them and dont be asking me for money when you dont have it because you dont how to spend it. I mean come on. I am not a piggy bank. If someone comes to me and asks me for money shortly after we start dating we are done.

| That is a problem. Coming from Michigan, I have a few buddies who dropped out of college. I also have buddies who have degrees and can't find a job because of the lack of economy. I gave up and moved away from Michigan, despite detaching myself from several relationship opportunities. The recent breakup during that period influenced my decision.
My heart was broken, but my wings were ready to fly. Maybe you are looking for a partner in the wrong places? Ever try church? Everyone around here says the best place to find a significant other is through the church. I haven't had much luck, but I am not really looking either.
I have my bachelors degree and plan to continue my education through a reimbursement plan set up through my school district.

| Everyone has flaws, other than the norm you have to let men know from the start whatelse your looking for.
I think most men all think to do the best for another, but finding someone compatible for ourselves with all the needs people have is the bigger question.

| Funny that you mentioned that. My neighbor's kid, who is 18, was arrested just last week for a traffic ticket. I was carrying groceries into my apartment, when I see two cops walking up to my apartment looking like they are about to do a drug bust or something. They had their guns ready and everything. It was a bit over the top, but the young man they were arresting is a fighter and unpredictable. I am assuming this wasn't the first encounter.
So, I know we just met, but can you spare a few bucks for a ticket I got a few months ago?

| Well at least you are doing something with yourself which is good. And the economy does kinda suck right now so in that aspect it is hard tp find a job.
I have thought about churches, but I am not exactly religious. So I fear that I would be prtraying something that I am not. I have nothing gainst religion andam open to dating someone relgious. Besides I like having weekends to spend with my son. Considering I work every other weekend. Its nice to do weekend trips with him and take him to different places.

| Ha ha funny.
I just had someone ask me today, actually, for 1100 dollars to keep him out of jail because he forgot about some unpaid tickets that he got. We had only been seeing each other for maybe a month. Nice guy and really good with my son. But if he is doing that already I can already see how things are going to be in the future. So thats over and done with.
