| When you love a person you can get past it all if its a matter of cheating. Now in saying that..One time can be forgiven if it should happen again there is no hope. Thats when the saying once a cheater always a cheater comes into mind.
Not everyone who made the mistake of cheating will cheat again!
People do make mistakes.
None of us are perfect and when you love deeply you can forgive and move past it.
I read alot of posts here ..so many are so cold because of what has happened. The walls I see that are built up and the no's-no's of this and that in the next relationship. Do ya realize you are carring bad luggage. When you begin a new relationship you should be open and full of hope like the very first time! No instead so many have such high hard walls and standards that cant be reached! So many so critical..maybe its better that you are alone.

| I guess I am f in stupid cuz I took someone back ONLY for them to put his hands on my throat and try to squeeze the life out of me. BUT I am free of that now I kicked him to the curb.

| I think in some cases a person can forgive the cheating...............but there will always be that lack of trust. Even if the person isn't cheating anymore there is going to be the worry that they might be cheating again. I can forgive a person for the wrongs that they have done me, but I can't have a relationship without trust.

| I honestly think it depends..
Because what if you have been together for years or even married..
would you throw years of marriage away?
You would have to really just sit down and think about it..
But really once a cheater alwayz a cheater.. but people can change.

| The Trust needs time to be built back up and yes it can be. When that happens you have to let go of what did happen.
Of course one needs trust in a relationship..like alot of things you build.

| I think it's a mistake to go back. Here's why;
I think if someone loved YOU.. i think it's impossible for them to cheat on you. Their whole world would be revolving around you at the center.
I think if someone cheats on you, they dont really love you.. perhaps they never have.. what they loved.. was the situation.. or things.. or relationship itself.. not you. So when a better thing.. a better relationship or better situation comes along.. it dosnt take much for them to stray. The one thing that would have kept them from straying.. YOU.. was not a factor for them.
So if they fail this test.. the test of commitment. dump them. or in your case.. dont go back to something that already ended. Find someone that loves YOU. Someone that cannot cheat on you, because it would only be cheating themself out of what they really love.. YOU.
As long as your with this person who dosnt love you.. your robbing yourself of the chance of finding someone who really does love you. It's a huge mistake.
That's my 2 cents.. and my perspective.

| I've invested 3 yrs into a relationship with a woman in San Marcos,TX.I left her because of her prescription drug problem.I said to her I can't help you,you have to help yourself.I packed up my tools and belongings and drove to my daughters in NC.
I called all the time,to talk with her and her mom.She was doing good,Narco-non,AA and therapy.She tells me she Loves me and this is my home too,and to come back anytime that I want too.
My mom is failing so I go up north to help her out.I end up driving her to FL.her sisters home and park her there with her sister that she wanted to spend time with.
I jumped on a flight to Austin,rent a car and drive to my home in San Marcos,TX.Well,to make a long story shorter,she moved in a 35 yr.old boy-toy wood cutter.Her mom said she is renting our room and bed to him for $477. per month.What B.S.Elisa then swares she is not sleeping with him,they are just friends.I say to myself (yeah,F**k-buddies)
She also says he can't have women their he has to go else where.
So,I empty the trash can next to the bed,whats in there,cum soaked toilet paper,several times from the looks of things.I was sick to my stomach,I left,slept in the airport and flew out the next day to FL.This was begining of last month and I'm still sickened.
I'm here,but still sickened,We said we where eachothers soul mates...yeah right.Elisa F. you suck !
