| Neither one are good and no one should put up with either but the verbal abuse stays with you where as the physical heals. I will never put up with either one!!

| The human psyche is delicate and damages very easily and is not always capable of recovering, whereas our physical self, although delicate as well is much more resilent. I feel that verbal abuse with it's residual re-runs is far worse, unless of course the physical abuse resulted in death. But, as has already been stated ABUSE of any kind is not good and should never be tolerated or allowed.

| Physical abuse may heal outwardly but neither ever truly heal completely because they scar your heart and soul. However I'd say physical is worse. People have died from physical abuse but lived to tell of verbal... I put up with it throughout my marriage for the sake of vows...never again.

| I have unfortunately experienced both. The worst of the two
to me Is " Verbal Abuse" I can take the being knocked around
as I can heal but "Words"  I won't go into detail but I
would rather be punched in the face and kicked to the ground then
tolerate Verbal Abuse............
