This has got to be the most unusual question for a thread tonight. Do you know of any haunted sites near where you live? I'm especially interested in hearing about locations in the South West Georgia area but, I'm game for any and all.

Ghost stories are aceptable too.

Do you mean becides the cemetary???...Why, yes sir. Jerome Az. is 5 min away. It is a ghost town. My favorite hang out there, is the Spirit Room. Jerome is a great place to be during halloween. I have no personal stories to share about the place, but Iam sure you can find Info. about it on the internet.

There is plenty in southern Ga and tons in NE FL. If you really want to get things rockin, go to the lighthouse in St. Augustine. Even TAPS did two shows on that one. I have taken proof positive photos there. Way cool place. Know of plenty more if you like.

i live with two ghosts: a little girl who was here when we moved in, and my grandma. the girl lived in my room i think, as she is always opening my closet door. at night she often appears in my monitor when the screen is black, but when i turn around she is gone. i think she is playing hide and seek or something. my grandma jsut activates her cup. she had a Christmas mug that plays a tune if you pick it up, but every now and then it jsut goes off on its own

Superstition Mountain, AZ
Crazy stories that are hard to fathom come from this area,
but one incident I personally remember too well.
Unexplainable and I won't resurrect the entity by writing of it.

A house that was owned by an old time big game hunter was purchased by Rutgers University a while back. One of the firefighters who is sensitive to creepy places felt horrified when we were in the building--especially the huge open grand staircase. We brought in a heat camera--that will show a warm area or a human body as a WHITE image on the screen. It is called a Thermal Imaging camera for firefighting uses. On that staircase there was the clear image, in a pale grey-hue,--of a sitting figure--sitting on the stairs half way up. That showed clearly on our screen under normal conditions. The basement is also odd--it has 20 foot high ceilings and what was a large coal bin for the ancient coal furnace needed to heat the house. The dark basement is dimly lit but scanning what we could get to, showed a grey image of shoulders and a head floating around in the coal bin area. The next night revealed the same image in the basement but not on the stairs. No one ever wanted to try that again.

I can not remember which township it's in,but theres a place called devils rock. They say it's where the devils foot touched the earth. On the Eve of Halloween this footprint appears on the rock and vanishes the morning after Halloween.
