| I learned how to be alone a long time ago. I like being with me. No games, no lies and no garbage. I go where I want, when I want and stay as long as I want. I have a place I go out to but I know almost everyone that comes there so that part is easy. I do not go to 'meat markets'. I do not like movies even on a date. I fish alone. Ride my horse alone. The one thing I always have is me. I have more fun with myself than most people cause I like me. Don't get me wrong, I am not stuck on myself, I just had to learn to like me and be alone.

| Use to love going out alone.Went places to meet old friends Did things i always wanted to do,had a good time.Then things we're lonely for awhile,then was with a crazt person(Which was fun)Now go out alone again but am gonna take my time

| I love to go out, i don`t mean to bars, cause i don`t realy drink. but i go out walking every night rain or shine. I walk for miles, i have met some interesting people. (ladies I would not recomend that you go out alone). I have gotten robbed, i have been stabbed, i have been shot at. Chased for about a mile and a half. I had some b*tch who was drinking and driving throw her beer at me. I love california, i`ll never move.

| I have high standards, too. The first time I went out on my own was very difficult. I just wanted to hear some music and I am not a bar girl.... which is where the best local music seems to be. I was new to the area. I happened upon a singer who was very much like me. Those who went to hear him play were too, and I met some of them. Sweet Pete has passed on to greater things and again it is hard to go out alone because the group dispursed while I was in the north taking care of my sick father. When I went out alone before, it was where he played. Going out Friday and sharing conversation with those sitting close to me was good. All I wanted was tuna and some music... it was all good.
Be brave. Do the things you love... you will meet people like you there.

Still, I'd rather go out with someone than go out by myself, even if it's just the grocery store.

| I go out alone all of the time. I like watching hockey games, I like live music, I like to sing...I get out and do what I like. I've made a ton of friends and it's no longer like going out alone, because I will run into someone I know at very least, if not a whole gang of friends. There are also times when I will go alone to somewhere like the zoo, the bluffs or the beach...somewhere outdoors. On those occasions it's kind of nice to be alone sometimes and just take it all in, but I have also met people doing those things.
The first time can feel a little uncomfortable, but if you're doing something you enjoy, just enjoy it! You will meet people and make friends in no time.

| If I go out with friends it's usally at my bidding.
Some of the bars I like going to, I prefer to go alone to, though. Then I can stay as long as I want, without someone else wanting to move on.
But there were a couple of bars/restaurants that I liked, but didn't want to go alone to. One had a lot of wait staff just standing round, I thought they should've allowed single customers the option of choosing one of the non active wait staff for a dinner companion. I didn't go in because I was alone, so they lost my business. I'm assuming others thought the same. They went out of business. In fact both places did, so I don't have to worry about finding a date to enter them anymore.
I go to movies alone, I still eat out alone, I gamble alone. I started going to bars & movies alone, because my landlord wouldn't allow me to have air conditioning and those places had air conditioning. My apartment costs me $110.00 a month utilities included.
The only thing I can say about that is...I'm f**king cheap!
Maybe that's why I can't find a girlfriend?

| I have always gone out alone for the simple fact that I do not trust women whatsoever. I only have four "great" woman friends and we each took a solemn vow not to do each others boyfriends, or their would be a good a** kicken goin on... I love going out by myself and meeting my so called "aquaintences" out for drinks and other "social" activities, but that is far as it goes. I would not trust them around my guy as far as I could throw them. You better believe it.....
