| Does anybody else here have the problem I am experiencing? I have sent out dozens of winks and emails to profiles of ladies here who have caught my eye but when i look in my viewed folder a vast majority of those mails have not been READ. Why would people go to the trouble of placing a profile on this site but never check their messages? I have no problem if they read it, look at my profile and decide they are not interested.. that's the way life works. But some of these ladies don't access their mailbox at all.

| not taking it personally at all...like I said in the opening post..it's about them not reading their emails or winks at all that's the problem and not that some haven't responded...there are some I don't respond to either but I always check my inbox...

| frankly, i don't see the point of sending a wink if you're not even gonna' show your face. i guess it may be a little flattering, but why bother to check out anything else?

| the issue is placing a profile on datehookup but never going back to check your messages...me not having a picture on my profile is a separate issue and i am well aware that not having a picture cuts down on my responces...I am not concerneed about lack of responces..just annoyed by people who place a profile and do nothing with it...

| These are just my guidelines for myself as stated in my profile:
1) I don't wink . . . it's too cheap.
2) I read the profile before I send any communication
3) I send an e-mail saying why I might be interested and what I think we may have in common
4) I ask her, explicitly, to read my profile and see if we have common interests & qualities
5) I don't expect an answer . . . who am I to judge . . . why would I care unless she responded . . . I don't count "NO"s . . . I count "Yes"s . . . and, frankly, I only want 1 . . yep One no more, no less 1 . . . hopefully THE 1 
My advice, check your name, profile, & photo. Be true to yourself first and you might just get a response from someone who trusts and embraces the YOU that you are.
This is not American Idol . . . you don't get paid for each "visit" or "vote" . . . do you? 'Cause I'd be rich and I'm just a bug dork with a big mouth and a big  .

| are you dense or something...you must be a Obama supporter...how would they know whether my profile or email was interesting or not if they never read it or for that matter even bother to access their mailbox at all.. I really hate getting personal with you because that's not my nature but you have kinda provoked it...
