| Since it seems that there are a lot of people in the dating world concerned about who pays, how much, how often and all of that, I was thinking of how many things we could come up with that would be a great date without any (or many dollars)
****
I think a great date would be to park near an airport in the evening and sit on the hood of the car or back of the truck, watch the planes take off and drink a glass of wine or beer and talk.
Any other ideas out there? Let me hear them please.
Thanks,

| Live by several parks that have entrances to the Appalachiann Trial or by the Potomac Towpath. A picnic then a hike near either would be great. There is also a dam near one point of the towpath that is beautiful to set near and feel the breeze in the summer heat.

| I live in a smaller area...by some standards.
We have many community parks, with a river running past many of the
parks and viewpoints. We are a pretty safe area, little chance of assault.
Watching the sunset on a bluff would also be a nice place to share a wine.
With the price of gas, driving to the lake is also expensive.
We have 6 or 8 lakes
all within an hour drive.
For Monday evenings, you could pair up and watch the OPRAH EARTH show on webinar,
on ABC TV..90 minutes of self refreshing ideas. You can watch previous episodes by going to oprah.com...
Cards, or PC games that you own?

| Well the best date I have ever had and will go down in history as far as I am concerned is this one.
A guy I was really interested in called me at the spur of the moment said I want to see you but I am broke. I said kewl what are you suggesting.. ( We had only had a first meet).
He asked if I would walk with him. He could sweetened the pot by offering me a thermos of Cocoa. I took him up on it.
We walked all over town, chatting window shopping, and ended up on top of Castle hill.Standing up there over looking the town. He then presented me with a hot steaming mug of homemade cocoa. The old fashioned kind.
Why is this date so priceless. Because this man was honest, wanted to spend time with me. Wasn't worried about taking the risk of being vulnerable. WE spent quality time talking and getting to know one another.
A date to me isn't to impress me with your wallet. Impress me with you, I am there spending time with you. I am already interested, I want to know about the person that caught my eye.

| Dating without $$$$$$?????
May I suggest sex?!?!?!!....It is cheap and entertaining....but, consider using some of those new fangled techniques....like pulling out or oral. I know this will blow way over some folks heads...but, sex doesn't have to culminate in yet another reponsibility. If you are really looking for a cheap date...get naked....you will see what I mean.

| How about a walk on the boardwalk in the evening it is so beautiful and romantic. I remember from a young girl loving the feeling of being with my boyfriend, holding hands, walking and also sitting down on the benches looking at the glistening water from the moonlight.

| My last two dates were coffee first at my request. More relaxing and you can talk or have a quick get away.
So maybe this - ask her to meet you at a local lake (in a good public spot of course) - have a couple thermos' of different coffee a bold and a medium, all the accessories, maybe a bowl of strawberries or a biscotti or both. Sit at a picnic table or spread a blanket near the lake, bring some old bread to feed the ducks and just chat.
