On the first meeting should you ever go to a persons house to chill with them. What if you have known them for a long time and been out with them before but just lost contact for a couple of years and you have been talking to them all the time recently over the phone. What should you do?

If it's the opposite sex and you don't want sex? I would probably wait.

Get completely drunk, eat next to nothing and leave your mobile phone at home. Don't tell anybody where you are going. If available, take heavily intoxicating drugs like crack. Wear a miniskirt and be sure to tie your shirt at the front like it was a big handkerchief. Don't wear a bra or underwear of any kind.

Was there a sexual relationship prior to "lost contact" for a few years?

How is it a first time meeting, when later in your post you say you've been out before, you also say you've known them for years, but have lost contact for a couple of years, you're only 19,,,lol how long did you know this person? It really don't sound like you actually have had too much if any time with this person, much less been around for too long yourself, NO you shouldn't meet and chill at their house.

Sure I would, but and this is a big one, if you feel it may be even the least bit unsafe or uncomfortable; don't go. Always listen to the little voice in your head that says, "Bad idea, boss." The voice is there for a reason.

No. And don't invite him to your house either, unless there are going to be several people there.

For ANY first time meeting, conduct it in a very public location where you feel totally comfortable. Immaterial if he and you have talked alot on the phone, cammed, emailed, etc. You have no ability to adequately escape a situation if it is on "their turf" and more so, if it is in "thier domain" or the domain where they direct you to!

The situation is a very dangerous one if you allow the meeting to occur under their control... you have lost yours!!!!

Practice SAFE MEETING.... Do it in Public and where YOU feel totally comfortable!!!!!!

Good Luck

there is sooooooo much over-reacting going on here, I think someone was shooting for drama and was successful.

NO! It makes you too vulnerable and you are asking for trouble. Even if you had known them for a long time sometime ago people can change. Don't be an easy victim, your first couple meetings should be in a safe invironment like a coffee shop or some other public place. Good luck
