| Ok I have a question. I may be a little old fashioned on this one but I want to know what others think. Why is it that people feel that 30 seconds after either using im or after the first email that they should just jump right in and start dicussing sex? Is that what this site is really for?

| Why not? Talking about it early on gives you an idea of where, if any, this may lead.
I have found if there is the least bit of sexual comment in a profile, BAM! thats where most focus their IQ.
I personally find talking about sex very humorous. Not in a trashy sort of way, but maybe a slight gutter way. Turning someones sentences around to make then blush is a hoot. It's entertaining for all around, IF they have an open mind.
There isn't a damn thing wrong with sex, we, at one time or another have done it, God knows I hope some day I do it again, but I won't back down from a conversation of it just because "it's to soon"
BUT, I do have my limits as to where it goes, and yes, (I) make the descion of where it goes. If I am, at any time uncomfy with it, I will in a polite way say so, IF it STILL heads south, then I have 2 choices, say it again, or say good-bye.
KNOWONE ever has to feel uncomfortable talking/chatting. YOU take charge of the conversation for awhile until you are comfy to open it back up to subjects that may or may not lead into.........ah hell, it all can be laughed at. Liten up, laugh it off. If thats what their after, you'll know. Each time it happens it's a learning tool. Certain phrases/words are trigger words. It like being at the rodeo, once that gate is open, hang on for dear life, could be on hell of a ride. JMO

| Not all guys on here are rushing into that conversation - the ones that do - I don't talk to them.
If you can't hold a conversation about an intelligent conversation on a website, to me it is not a good sign.
It lets you know why they are on here. There are a lot of great guys on here who can hold a conversation, but like everything you have to be very careful.
