| well this question can mean one of two things. if you love someone you dont have to be with them. but if you are IN love with a person than you should try to see if things would work out or not. and by the way i think this is a very honest question to ask. there are a lot of people who ask this question.

| Nope, and many people will love the one they aren't with for many years if not even take it to the grave. I love my ex, and there is no doubt he loves me, can we be together NO,,, lifestyle changes have made that impossible, as we grew together he became more and more of an abuser of substance's, where i progressively gave more and more of them up, i'm totally substance free, he in my eyes has become a mush head, i could never stay with an alcoholic pot head, (think he might be hitting the glass pipe too) Oh, and he's a bad boy to the bone, but never was a jerk to me.. this bad boy term is really being incorrectly defined.

| I agree that if you love somebody that you do need to be with them.
I moved to another state to be with a good person and it did not work out, but we are as close as a cupple can get without the sex even though we live in the same home.
