I'm 21 and I have a 5 month old little girl. Sometimes I just feel like my loving days are over because I don't think anyone is going to want to get serious because of my situation. I'm a full time student and I'm not looking for anyone to take care of me or my daughter....I just want to fall in love and have a family and live happily ever after, is that too much too ask?

i know how you feel!!! I have a 1 1/2 year old and have been single since before he was born... Some guys are jus to immutre or base other women based on their exs!! we're young we jus gotta keep our heads up and it will happen one day good luck to you

You girls are very pretty and I am sure you will not have a problem in the love department. Just be sure that whoever comes into your life has to love your children as much as they do you. Just be patient! Hell I turn 36 tomorrow. I'm freaking old!

I made the mistake of being with a guy that was really not into my boys. I was stupid and it took me 5 years to realize it. Me and my boys are a package deal. The only way to my heart is through them.

i know how you feel girl. i'm the same way. a lot of guys that i've come into contact with think they have to take care of me and my son. its hard to find them, its like finding a needle in a haystack. the ony thing you can do is keeping looking and don't give up. you'll find someone. no its not too much to ask either cause i'm sure all of us single parents are looking for the same thing as you cheer up :hug:

Some guys feel lie a ready-made family is a little too much to handle. At least you find out before you get emotionally involved!

Some guys aren't interested in raising another guys kids. You know, that ex of yours will be poppong back into your and his life together every so often and some guys feel threatened by that.

Look on the bright side.... some guys have kids of their own and find that many women are put off of dating them for many of the same reasons.

You need to split this into two view points or three topics.....

1) from the vantage point of a guy with a kid(s)

2) from the vantage point of a guy without kids

3) include the ideas of woman with one child vs multiple children



Remember that at this point it is no longer about you. Your focus is on that beautiful baby of yours....finish school, get a career, set up your future together. You do have someone that loves you very much...remember that!!!! We single parents say we are looking for love...we have the greatest love of all....and it is without boundaries. Enjoy it!. If someone comes along, you will be that much better off, but i would trade dating or the love of another woman to be able to have my son 100% of the time.

Well ladies.i will say this about ladies with kids.I could never have kids .I would have gave anything if I would have met some lady with a little girl or boy.so hang in there,I am sure there is someone out there for you.don't give up yet.

I have great respect for and admiration toward actual mothers. SOme girls have kids, and they exploit that situation, but others have kids, and actually are genuine mothers to them. Whether a woman is a mother, or not, doesn't really contribute significantly to my attraction toward her. As far as having to do with kids in a different sense, I look for women who would want a relationship(progressive relationship, not just one that has a ceiling of just dating), with me being a man who desires to eventually raise a family of atleast 3 kids.

BOTH of my ex-wives had kids. my first wifes son was only 1 1/2 yrs old when i met her.we dated a couple yrs and got married. i raised him like my own.. divorced her in 1991 but i am still friends with her, and i sponsor her sons racecar! still love him like he's mine. a man that is really in love with you will accept your kids as his own!!!!by the way, me and my first wife had a daughter together also. i guess thats why we're still friends!
