Not all the years of many marriages are bad.
Have you moved on as in getting together with someone new? If not that might be helpful ..You gotta "move on" this is true.

Well obviously you're thinking about at least one bad time to call him a jackass. Usually the good times fly right out the window and only the bad times linger. Or else we'd all be together with our jackasses.

| I'm going through a similar situation right now, Juice. You're not alone. My man was a supreme jerk. Everything was somehow my fault. Just know that you don't need him. That's what I'm trying to assure myself of now. Are you with someone else now, may I ask?

| well .. when you started out.. you started out in love, on top of the world.. in bliss.. you cherished each other. Somehow all these things got overlooked and under tended and diminished in time. But they were real once. You probably loved him once. Some part of you still might. If a relationship ends i don't think you should blame anyone but yourself. Either for the initial choice of partner, or for not putting in the effort to have the relationship succeed .. or for not getting out sooner. Only one you can blame is yourself.. the other person is just exactly who they are.. and you married them.
I don't think you should assign blame.. but i don't think you should forget either. I think you should wonder what went wrong.. and why. I think you should do what you can to fix what you can.. about yourself.. that in any way might have contributed to anything that could possibly cause anything so good.. to turn so bad.
It's been over 10 years for me, and i still have an occasional dream about my x. I know i don't even know who she is. Guess i just cant forget who i thought she was. Now, She's just the kids babysitter. Nothing more, nothing less.
I won't go back, but I wont forget either. Last thing in the world i want to do is repeat any mistakes i have made before.
