| My neighbors wife walked out on him after 15 years, He came to me and got a hard dose of reality, she walked out and he wants to know what he did wrong? The truth is why blame yourself. At first he was mad but now a lot of his friends are telling him what she's been doing all these years. The biggest thing is when a relationship is over, the why don't matter. 3years he ain't likely to come back and why would you want him too. Sometime you just have to make yourself accept the past, cause like Willie Nelson sings

back on topic:
for me, it was a matter of keeping myself occupied with various activities. it's not easy, and time is the key to it all. but, eventually, i realized, it didn't take all that much time to get past the prior relationship. i learned from my experiences, and now i am ready to proceed with a new relationship,with alot more knowledge and understanding. i feel better in every way, and look at the next relatonship with alot of hope and desire.

| I did the same thing for about a month. Then, I realized the house was peaceful, clean, I didn't have to account to anyone but myself, and even though I am still unemployed, f**k it, it's better than being with HIM.
If it has been 3 years, you need to sit alone, candle lit, and look inside to revisit why you fell for him and most of all, why you have not replaced him with a man who treats you well.
After two back-to-back relationships with alcoholics, I realized I must be a drunk magnet and am consciously changing that today. I am also changing so that con artists, cheats and liars are never in my life again.
