| Yes probably quite a few times.
I think a big plus with the internet/chats is that it's text based to a large part. So it's kind of like the minds meeting before the eye's and visuals start loading up (the false or superficial impressions). But one of the draw backs, besides distance.. is the fact that text based communication leaves out much of the empathsis, voice inflection, etc...
Someone can read something quite literally and miss the entire intent of the speaker. I cant think of anything big.. just a few misunderstandings.

| I think there are two or three people on here that are just automatically looking for a reason to pick a fight. They pick half a phrase out of a post and attack you for it. No need for me to REPEAT the name of a top offender.

| Yes, because as fryyyy said, without voice inflections and facial expressions things can be taken the wrong way. This is true for me because I am a bit of a smart ass  in a nice, funny way , and have quick comebacks that look different in print if taken at face value.
So I just explain or say I'm sorry and move on.

| Lady- I enjoy the smart-ass comebacks. That's one of the reasons I like this site. It cheers me up after a rough day at work. I was talking about the full-fledged half page attacks.

She's a great friend of mine.....
ALL of her posts have depth and intraspective thoughts.... well.... other than the occasional dealings with aasholes
(if the shoe fits???)
GSB is one of the few people on this site that looks at herself and questions her reasoning for staying here.... and offers questions in a manner that fosters debate and/or argument.
If I may..... GSB posts in a manner that promotes self enlightenment.
Can you say the same??
And can you find anyone that would defend your character on this site like I just did with "GSB"????
Time will tell?
