Distance is a common concern and rightly so on DH. If you are one of those people that can move for the love of your life - post it here. Maybe someone that has been admiring you from afar will read it and take action!

As for me, my children are grown, and I am in a career field that as long as there is a technology sector in the city of my future partner I'm pretty darn flexible. Who else?

Why would you BellaNM take a "good thread" and turn it into male bashing?

Maybe, just maybe, BellaNM, you should look internal for the answers to your questions.

Hi Luvzhugs...

Great Thread...I'm of the same mind as you!!

I can live anywhere on this planet...Distance doesn't come into my Mindset...

I'm well travelled and can adjust to most lifestyles..

I can Think outside the Box...

But everyone's got different things going on in their lives...

And so it can restrict their search to a more localised area!!

And that restricts my search too!!

I was free to relocate, in the past. Things change though and for now I can't. Hopefully in the next few years I will be able to live wherever I desire, again, without constraints.

Sunny you are so right! Some people don't realize that by limiting where they look they are limiting others who have no limits set. Good point! I too have lived in other countries and am well travelled and can therefore make 'good' ALMOST anywhere.

Ivanto - you are a wonderfully positive poster and an attractive woman too so I'm sure that even though you're restricted you still have a wonderful group of men to choose from.

Thanks for your input folks

Well, great topic by the way. Distance isn't an issue for me as I work for an airline so there's no travel/distance issues with me. I can relocate anywhere that I can work at an airport for the airline I work for.

I would love the freedom to be able to move anywhere for love, and my sons are grown but one is autistic and will always require a legal guardian (me) near by him...

Still would I go the distance to meet someone, yes.

DO I think LDR's and relationships built online can be do-able? Yes.

Can they be worth it? yes.

Are they easy - no, but certainly no harder than real life relationship either.
Just different.

I hope that the LDR I have just begun stands the test of distance. It certainly seems do-able for me. My job is easily transferred anywhere in the world...as long as I speak the language. Luckily I'm a fairly good language student!

I would be willing to relocate, and probably will do just that for career reasons in a few months anyway, but only within a few hours of where I am so my kids can still see their dad regularly. I'm currently hoping for Hot Springs, Little Rock, Fort Smith or Fayetteville, so come on guys, give me a reason to pick one

Katrina, I'm guessing by now you've realized there aren't a lot of men from this area on DH...where they are, I don't know....

Yeh distance brings in alot of factors. But I would relocate for the right women.
After we had meet and hit it off well together.Or I wouldnt mind if she wanted
to move to where I live at.Just the factorying in cost of living in different
areas, availiability of jobs,if you both own your own house, town or country
living,etc.....It can get down right crazy. And my situation with a set income
makes it even more confusing.Plus Id be around the house alot which some
women wouldnt want.So I give my best wishes to those willing to take the
chance.
