| Love DOES NOT conquer all. if you are not compatible, and you're goals in life and not the same, and you're personalities are polar opposites, and the only time you get along great is in bed, FORGET IT.You'll spend more time debating than getting along. they're are people out there that are in love with the idea of being in love.

| Love certainly doe not conquer all. No matter how much you love someone..differences will inevitably get in the way.

| WHO..... in these forums, has not experienced the following kinds of Love?
Erotic Love
Love of Family
Love of Self
Love of Another outside of Family
The sum of these four in Latin is one word: Amor
Amor: res ipsa loquitur.
"Love: It speaks for itself."

| Never did anything dumb such as splurging on expensive things and letting the other person take advantage of me in a situation or losing my head. One must be able to see and observe any red flags so there won't be any regrets or bitterness later.

| "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves."
-- 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Both would have to be in true love for this to happen.

Where can I find this type of love again.
Had it once or twice and let it go. Wish I could find that time machine....

| I personally believe that it is not "love" which conquers all but, rather, acceptance and teamwork. If you only dwell on the coupe de foudre high and expect other things to fall into place, there's a word for that - fantasy.
