| Why is it, that men always want the women to role play or dress up in cute, sexy, playful costumes/outfits, sexy lingerie, yet the men wear the laziest/sloppiest clothes, plain old boxers/briefs, and not make any effort to be sexy for us?
There are lots of cute/sexy/hot/playful things can wear for us, or even just sexy/attractive on the average...men claim to desire all the sexy/pretty lingerie, thongs, etc...where is the balance? 
Why don't men realize that women want to see their men make an effort for them too? OR, wonder why some women stopped making the effort in return?
It DOES work both ways. Women want to find you doing out of your way to be playful/sexy for us, too!!! Sexy, nice fitting boxers/boxer briefs/bikinis, even, nice shorts...whatever works for your body style....but not crappy old, torn, stained, stretched out underwear...commando only works so well too...we want a little mystery and playfulness. Just like you...make our blood boil guys!!!
Here's the clue!!! Make some effort for us to want to desire and attack you too!!! You might love the responses!!!  Just a thought!!! 
 I AM TALKING ABOUT YOUR UNDERCLOTHES GUYS!!! Not what you wear out publically...but when you are going to be intimate with your partner, do you make an effort to look desirable/attractive/sexy/neat in the bedroom, or whatever room you are playing in!!

| one i will say this. A women that is dressed nice is good, but what gets me is when a women is dressed in blue jeans, t-shirt and a baseball cap. I am just a plain kind of person. is that crazy

| I can not speak for other men but if sexy under-garments or even outer garmets are given as gifts, just like we give sexy gifts, we would be more apt to model them, etc.
My last lady gave me gifts and I was happy to primp and model for her frequently. It made for some very hot times.
Yes, I'm also a card-carrying member of Victorias Secret and thankful of it. She received a lot of gifts too. Ultimately we both win!

| My take is that men are totally visual. Hence playboy etc. women are more about emotion. If I love him I could care less if he's running around in this old skivies. I don't normally do the whole dress up thing, but I have been known to greet someone at the door in something from Vicky's. He was totally suprised and it was quite hot in the kitchen!

| recently some friends and I went to Vegas and on the way home we were sitting in the airport and was reading outloud from a magazine and we got some input by some males where they said they think it is hot to have their women wear their button down shirts or something that is theirs to bed that is the biggest turn on. It is more so then having them dress up in lingerie, costumes etc.

I have no idea what any other man does, but I always dress for my lady..
It's not always a fancy costume; but my choice of undergarments is always well thought out... and I've always worn the "fancy costumes" as often as any partner I've been with... (which in some relationships, has been very often!!)
Am I different from others? On second thought; y'know what? I don't care what other men do, lol.

| Very true new2wa, but most men get the shakes and shivers, and are afraid of VS...hence, they expect the women to do all the buying...the benefit to your buying, IF yoiu know her size, is you buy what will turn you on, then she does the same for you...but most don't care to do that for each other.
As for coolcajun and bry11ca, I didn't mean in general outer atire..I meant for private time...I am all for the casual jeans, etc too...for the under the jeans stuff.....
To occassionally to make things fun in the bedroom...silly! And no wool for me bry...I will let you keep it, too itchy!

I mean, if I want a gal to dress sexy for me, I give her sexy stuff as gifts, sometimes I might take her to Victoria's Secret and we would pick stuff out together...
No lady has ever picked out 'sexy' stuff for me to wear (except my ex wife and that was 20 years ago) or taken me to pick out something sexy.
It works both ways, we aren't mind readers, you want something, make an effort to let us know and not by sending mysterious, non-verbal 'messages'

| I think women in general take more care with themselves and their appearance than men. I also think they appreciate when a man makes an effort on his appearance. I seldom wear baggy cloths and have been told I have a nice butt even as I have added these extra pounds. I listen for clues as to what a woman likes. If I overhear her talking about what cologne drives her crazy I try to wear it for her. If she like to grab my hair or run her fingers through it, I leave it down when we are out. "Wow, that color brings out the blue in your eyes" and I wear that color more often. On the other hand when a woman does not like something that I like I go with what I want. As for baggy underwear I do not want to turn her off as I undress so I try to make sure they are colorful and fit well so she might enjoy the thought of unwrapping her package.

| Why is it that men think they need to be told, that we want you to look as hot/sexy/attractive coming to the bedroom, as you want us to look. It is not rocket science, that women appreciate/enjoy and desire a man that looks more appetizing, than one that does not! What is the big confusion...WHY would you think a woman is going to desire you in some crappy old boxers/briefs, all stretched out and looking sloppy, and you are going to want her to ravish you or desire you? I guess if it is working for you, have fun and good luck! I enjoy/appreciate a man caring about how he presents himself into the bedroom, and it shows in my responses!!!
