| I was just wondering. I'm a biker and I'm a guy and no I'm not curious in this as for a reason of odd behaviour. If you are a biker or love bikes and have'nt got another one yet, this is still something I'd like you to think about.
It has gotten to be somewhat dangerous to get out and ride alone. If you have ridden much you know exactly what I am talking about. As the way things are in todays time it has become best in both enjoyment and safety to ride in groups. At least three. There are times hard to arange at the spare of the moment when you at the last minute deside you want to go out for a while.
As gas keeps going crazy and we might as well face it, its not going to go back to a reasonable price. We need to make every gallon and every mile count for something in both our cars and bikes.
I belong to two bike groups already but still its not what I really want. I have been talking with others on the internet and also some of my Christian friends locally around where I live. I want to ride and have fun just like everyone eles but when I get home thats all I did. What do I have to show for it other than a great big smile and more miles on my odometer.
My intrest is not just riding out somewhere and eating at some place and riding back, or going to some site seeing place. I want to acomplish something when I go out. Jesus said that for what you do for the least of these its as doing it for him. That has been on my mind for quite some time now. I don't see it as works, I don't see it as trying to earn your way into heaven. I see that as a way to serve the Lord, and the plus side of this is we might just be storeing treasures in heaven. Would'nt it be better to go to heaven and be there forever with treasures, or would you settle for being there forever with nothing?
If anyone would be intrested in the plans that my friends and I have, your welcome to learn more. We do plan on starting as a small group this summer, anyone in this area is welcome also and even in your own area you may have friends to join up with you on this. The main thing is - lets get more out of our rides than just mileage. Lets show the old and helpless that we care, and the young without parents that we love them. Lets do as our Father in Heaven had sujested. It will make your ride worth something.
